great place to meet and socialize with people.
Just started attending this Church with My wife and Stepdaughter.
Community Baptist Church is one of the most loving, kind, family oriented body of believers you will find anywhere!
One the most friendly Church I've ever attended in My life.
The most important thing in any church is love, as we learn from 1 Corinthians 13. This church does well in that regard. All are welcome to come and hear the good news that God loves them and has provided salvation to all who repent and believe!
People genuinely care about one- another there.
This is an amazing Church body! The people are the church and every one of them are dedicated. I do know Jim and some of the others on the reviews. I will also dispute whomever CT Conchman is. There is not anything further from the truth in his review. The pastor is amazing and out going. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience and teaches from the heart. He cultivates others so they can in turn help others which is a continuous reinforcement to each other! Ever person here uses their talents to honor and worship God. There is a place for anyone and everyone. There are a multitude of places to be part of the team. It is Gods House and just like your own it requires some upkeep and the members do a lot of the work, again putting their talents to be utilized, not USED! There is no requirement to contribute an offering, and is even mentioned everyday that if you are a guest do not feel obligated! Giving comes from a willing and cheerful heart. Come join the fun and celebration! You will be welcomed and greeted!
I am not sure who CT Conchman is, but just about everything in his review is wrong. Pastor Ludka is one of the most genuine, kind, loving people you will ever meet. He is not a proud man by any stretch of the imagination, nor is he a dictator. He loves to have input from church members on every aspect of our church ministry, and will take the time to meet with anyone, about anything, any day of the week. Our church does not put an emphasis on money, though it does take money to keep a ministry going and to keep the lights on. It is and always has been a free-will offering. No one is required to give any amount of money. Members are encouraged to serve in the church, but I have never heard of anyone being "worked to the bone" nor have I ever heard of anyone being asked to leave the church for any reason. I also don't know where the Baptist bride idea came from at all. I have heard from our pulpit on more than one occasion that Baptists are not the only people doing God's work. I know for a fact our Pastor believes this is true.
Great Bible teaching and Christ -honoring music and worship.
Community Baptist Church, currently pastored by John Ludka, is a very loving church that has a solid bible foundation and caring congregation.
The adult Sunday School hour focuses more on individual books of the bible. The latest is a study of Exodus through Deuteronomy. The Sunday morning worship and Sunday evening and also Wednesday evening can be more topical, referencing different parts of scripture. On Wednesdays, after the bible study is a time for prayer requests.
Other activities include men's prayer breakfast, which is a potluck and you keep informed about church maintenance and can help if you want to. Group outreach, usually involving door to door evangelism. There are other seasonal events as well.
