I have been waiting 3 hours in fast track ER for my 6year old and he has still yet to be seen by anyone absolutely ridiculous I should not have been sent to fast track if I was going to be here for more then 3 hours anyways

Very friendly registration staff. Brought my mom here for a routine x-ray. We had a bit of a wait, despite being the only patients in sight.

I leave two stars simply because their surgical center is amazing, however the ED - not so much. I had gone to the ED complaining of the worst cramping I've ever had and my blood pressure was so low they could barely find a vein to insert an IV. Finally, the doctor came in to check on me. Basically dismissed my problem as a miscarriage and wanted to send me home as they were about to close. Didn't even want to get me an ultrasound but the nurses insisted. Finally got my ultrasound - rupturing ectopic pregnancy. If the nurses hadn't insisted I got an ultrasound, I may have died from internal bleeding from the rupturing tube. I thank the nurses and the ultrasonographer for all their hard work and their care for me, but the doctor (Dr. Alper I believe) should be a little less dismissive with problems like this.

Great treatment by the staff at Pequot Urgent Care. Very professional. The P.A. that I met with answered all of my questions thoroughly and was very personable.

Took my daughter there with suspected strep throat. PA was practically dismissive. Stated that the strains of streptococcus bacteria that cause rheumatic fever don't exist in the United States anymore. I wonder where he got this omniscient knowledge as a simple internet search shows active lawsuits for US practices that did not correctly diagnose strep throat and the resulting rheumatic fever warranted heart surgery with valve replacements. It was the PAs dismissive attitude that angered me. When he left the room my daughter burst into tears. I advise L&M to hire staff that have real knowledge of the state of infectious disease as well as compassion. He seemed disgruntled, annoyed at having to look at a mere sore throat. Or perhaps they should post a large sign on their doors stating "Suspected strep throat cases need not apply."
