Being that this is the internet, I just want to say you can't believe everything you read. For example, my name is Jake but my post says Ben. I'm too lazy to create a new account and I'm locked out of mine so I'm using my brothers account that's already logged in. That being said....
I have read the reviews before I drove an hour to this place but had to see what was going on for myself. This isnt an "I got ripped off angry customer" post. They will indeed try and will rip you off if you let them. Perfect if you're not trying to get actual or even 1/2 the value from what you're pawning and on the other hand you'll find some stuff cheap there. Be careful with what you buy and sell and examine what you're being told thoroughly.
Gold Star Pawn is one of the best pawn shops I've ever dealt with. I'm a long time customer who has established a good relationship with these guys and for good reason. They offer the most competitive prices for your pawned or sold goods. I've done business with other shops in the area and these guys will beat 'em just about every time. There's even been a couple of times where I've come in a little short, because, let's face it, life can be tough...and every time they have worked with me so that I wouldn't lose my stuff. Trust me, come check these guys out if you need some extra cash. They'll take good care of ya!
I don't know about everyone else but Scott an Scott an the rest of the boys at theshop are awesome 2nd my son's bike got stolen an the out of the kindness of there heart they gave him a new bike that's generous forgery everyone else who's talking smack....luv sammie
Wow! I am really surprised by the last review on here. I have been a customer of Gold Star Pawn for many years and I know that they would never rip anyone off!! They are fair and reasonable. Do they need to make money, of course, but they would never pull anything like that. If it was an error I know for sure they would give you your money back.
Beyond rude is a understatement. I stopped by earlier in the day to ask a few questions & was told I could come back before 5 with no issues. I came back within a hour & was told they wanted to go home so basically get out. Sad, I've bought a lot of tools, odds & ends throughout the years from gold star pawn. Never again, they lost a great customer.
