Hi my name is Tammy Hamilton and I am writing to tell you about Sgt.Smith, he was here at my sons house 16 Benham rd. On Saturday assisting an accusation made towards my son in the town, I signed a paper giving consent to search my car and their house as I am on my sons lease so I couls give that permission. My son has 4 kids in his house 4,3,2, and 5 months so whwn we went in I told the babies they had to go next door so the officers could make sure the mouse wasnt in the house Sgt.Smith totally went along with it not to upset them, while the other officers were searching Sgt. Was talking with me explaining everything answered all of my questions and then some. He remained professional,compassionate, and very nice even while he had a job to do...I feel I needed to make you aware of this situation as he was amazing at his job, and I know everyone is quick to point out negative against officers and social media makes it ten times worse, so I felt him and the 2 officers from the town did amazing and I couldnt me more proud to know these are the officers who have chosen to serve and protect us....I feel these are the officers who should be reconized within the department and the media and I greatly thank you for your service and what you have taught and expect from your officers....Thank You
Only have good things to say every time we've interacted with their officers and staff.
