I was charged $8 to cash a $75 dollar check that was for my great kid and honor roll seniors yearbook. I was told they’d waive the fee if I open an account when I begged them to help me. No. I do not do business by blackmail. If I open an account it’s because I think you’re a good bank. A profitable business that cares more about $8 than a kid getting the only year book they will have for all four year of high school can go kick rocks. Shame on you. DO NOT BANK HERE!
I've visited the location in Groton this week to open a business account and was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very nice and professional, especially Elisha Mathrur, the Relationship Manager. Her advice was priceless, she answered all of my questions and helped me pick account types that fit my business needs. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
Quick friendly staff
ZERO STARS ZERO STARS ZERO STARS - This bank, as a whole, is absolutely terrible! The customer service is complete non existent. They act like robots, reading from a script to which they can NOT answer simple questions. Their fees are absolutely a scam, there are FEES FOR EVERYTHING. When asked about such fees, the are robots & keep saying the fees are new & the fees are fees.... The only thing they would say besides, the fees are fees, is that every bank charges fees. Thank you caption obvious, banks charge fees, but not made up fees or straight up ridiculous fees. My example is, To cash a check, they charge me a $8 fee. They didn't say anything either, in hopes I wouldn't catch it, just comply & walk out. Nope, I counted the money & found it to be $8 short. When I politely asked about the missing money, the individual turned into a robot & stated " Fees", Fees are fees".... There are fees for fees & so on & so forth. On top of that, they shut the door on 7 people, right as they were walking in. Again, robot actions, It's 4 o'clock & they blatantly pushed back the door & locked it, right in there faces. I could go on & on, like how they have separate lines to discriminate against people who have an account with boa & those who don't bank them. It's no wonder everywhere you look, read, search for this bank, the reviews are all the same.... 0-1 stars. Word to the wise, stay away!!!
I do not do business with then.
