The first time I stopped in, 5 min before close, I only had to drop off a package that had pre-printed labels ready to go... and they were closed early. The woman inside saw me and just shook her head. I guess it's my fault for assuming a customer-oriented business would value customer service.
Broke my laptop and vintage crystal candle sticks and refused to replace it had to temporarily leave school on the online campus while being a single mother of 2 with no help from anywhere. I have never been so hurt all they did was bounce me around place to place and then tell me they issued a check to the place that I shipped it from and they refused to give it to me apparently it's at there digression to pay me once a check is settled thanks ups for playing with me for a month and now I can't go to school while juggling 2 kids and a job please don't let this happen to someone else!
Tried to mail out a certified letter, the woman at the counter was incredibly condescending in telling me that that’s uSps. I have sent items certified at several ups stores in the past, but I did a quick internet search to make sure - and it does state that they can mail certified letters. A guy that came in before me asked a question to which the answer was also no, and she shook her head and laughed at him condescendingly as well. So disappointing because I typically receive great customer service at ups stores, almost always more personable than post offices. Train your employees better, this is unacceptable.
I have no problems with UPS. The drivers are always nice and pleasant, but I avoid going to the store at all cost because of an older woman that works there. Unpleasant and condescending to me the first time I went there to send a package. She even tried to embarrass me in front of groups of people. Decided to go to USPS instead and had no problems. Second time I went there several months later (I badly wanted to avoid going there but it was urgent) she was still rude to me, but first she made sure to ignore me for 2 minutes even though I was the only person in the store.
The store insisted to me that they did not have my package. Even with my tracking number and email confirmation they insisted it was not there. After leaving, I got a call saying that they did have the package. When i turned around to come back, I got to the store and was told by Joan that they assumed that it was their new printer and they didn't read the label. Seriously. Isn't part of the point of a package is that there is a name clearly printed on it.
