Great place for some peace and quiet and beautiful joking trails. My dog and I love going there.
A great little hike through the woods with plenty of trail options. It’s probably 1.5 miles to the beach, so be prepared to walk and enjoy the scenery. If you’re looking for a quick trip to the beach, this is not it (which is fairly obvious from the map). Trails are well maintained and clearly marked. Keep an eye out for horse and dog poop, as the trails are often used by less than responsible owners. Park closes at sundown.
3 stars. It's too long of a walk to get to the bluff. I would suggest installing those flat escalator type things so that you can enjoy the hike without actually having to hike. That would have greatly improved my visit
One of the nicest little state parks in all of the state. Peaceful and serene if you get off the basic trails. Miles and miles of trails and mountain biking trails. Tons of smaller trails to "get lost" even though itd be a little difficult being on a bluff. The parking lot gets redone once a year I think, and towards the end of their cycle the road gets really beat up.
Clean park but the drive in is very rough on vehicle watch out for ruts . The views are great from any point . Great spot to watch the airport take off and land too.
