I truly love nothing better than a good hike with the pups and the trails here are the perfect place for that!

To get to the dog park, follow the trail to the right where it forks (near the entrance of park) and walk about one tenth of a mile. You'll see a fence to the right of the trail. The first fenced area is for bigger dogs; continue just passed the first fenced area to get to the small dog area. Park offers good trails if you'd rather walk your dog.

Great place to bring your dog. All sizes. Lots of trails, a pond-ish area, and a very large fenced in area for play time. The "regulars" are very helpful and social as well.

Went here for a quick nature walk with the family. We met a few people along the walk and they were all very friendly. This is a dog run park, so expect dogs. We didn't know that, but that's not a problem for us.

Love bringing my family here for nature walks. There seem to be few irresponsible dog owners, which is nice. Still, ya gotta keep an eye out for dogs off leash on the trails and the poop their owners leave behind. I wouldn't bring a picnic lunch either. Really less of a family park and more of a dog park w/trails for people who know how to be around dogs.

We were also cautioned that there are snakes that are often found on the path, and that just that day the gentleman who told us said he saw two that day.

We didn't see any, but I don't believe there are any venomous ones in the area. Just be careful when you go and keep your eyes out for nope ropes (venomous ones) and danger noodles (non-venomous ones).
