I took a few minutes to read the other reviews of Windsor beneath mine, and several are total bullshit. I am embarrassed for the fat ass who was disturbed over the lack of a continental breakfast. I mean...really? With the savings (compared to other rooms) that person could buy a whole bag of egg mcmuffins. Fat bastard. Anyway, as for pillows being 'too thin', stack two together or bring your own, cuz. Finally, and I can't help myself with this one, there was one clown who wrote a litany of complaints and gave this place an awful rating. Read between the lines and you will see he was up in the middle of the night trying to access his favorite porn sites on WIFI and was bent because of blocking software. It is what it is. These niggling bullshit complaints indicate how spoiled and thankless people can be. Ignore them and take advantage of a nice little basic stay property.
It wasn't great, but it wasn't horrible either. The cleanliness was good, but the buildings were very very dated.
Hi everyone, my wife an I stayed at the Windsor Motel Sat. night after a wedding. We found the room very clean and comfortable. We rated it a 3/3.5 star because of the size of the room, but to honest, it was all we asked for in our short stay. So if your looking for a short over night inexpensive stay, I think this will meet your needs.
Bottom line: if you can afford better, skip this place. Pros: pretty clean. Nice staff. Cheap. Cons: old, run down. Hard bed, pillows so thin they are practically worthless. Exterior lighting is so bright, and no blackout curtains, that the room has more light in the middle of the night than the middle of the day. A/C is loud. TV volume oscillates wildly across channels and programs. The wi-fi has content restrictions. Refrigerator smells musty. Tub has weird blue mineral stain, the faucet drips, and water pressure is poor.
The straight juice: the place offers an unbeatable deal. It is 15 minutes away from the casinos and the price, including tax on a Friday night, is $52. We're not talking about a scumbag dive featuring roaches or bedbugs. No. The place is clean, comfortable, and comes with a big flat screen TV and excellent WIFI.
No continental breafast, Simple and quiet. For the price it's a good deal.
