Very generous portions and great food in general. But the whole time we were there, we didn’t get any refills on water and watched the waitress go back to the same table and help them 3 times before coming to ours. And i asked for a box for my ravioli and she put them in a container without the sauce.
The pasta is made in house and the staff is very nice. At peak hours it is hard to get a seat in a timely manner. It is well worth the wait, also the price is spot on for the amount of food. Balcony seats available during supporting seasons for a romantic view.
I don't even know where to begin. This place is such a gem. This is one of my boyfriend's favorite places. He always said he had to take me here and he finally did. We will be returning for sure. The food is amazing. The pasta is all made fresh there. Meals come out in mere minutes. Service is fast and friendly and the prices are so so good! extremely affordable and for homemade pasta, its so worth it. I paid only $12 for two bowls of pasta. It was so good! Love their homemade sauces too. The Alfredo is amazing! They also have a great dessert selection that is well worth checking out. Its also right on the water front! Nice views! Highly recommend.
I used to eat here when I was in college and for a few years after before moving out of the area many years ago. Came back a few times in the last two years, and Paul's was just as delicious and affordable as I remembered it! A half portion is like a full portion nearly anywhere else, so unless you plan to take home leftovers (also a great idea), stick with a half. If you visit during warmer weather, hold out for a table outside for an even more enjoyable experience.
If you love great Italian food, in a no frills setting, Paul's Pasta is the place to enjoy fresh pasta treats. I had the Scallops, with asparagus and sun dried tomatoes, in a garlic white wine sauce, cooked to perfection. Not fast food, but great food! Well worth the 40 minute wait for a tiny table on a friday night.
